Edition is our multi-tenant SaaS platform for building and hosting websites with AI. We designed and built the visual editor, content management, customer accounts and companion mobile app.
It demonstrates the scope and sophistication we can deliver for a client. Your product can solve a completely different problem, with its own interface, workflows and business model.

01 / THE WEB EDITOR
Describe the site you want, then refine it in Edition’s visual editor. Change text, swap images, adjust layouts or ask AI to make further changes.
Users can ask AI to change a single headline or section, then continue editing by hand. The pages remain editable throughout.
02 / THE ENGINEERING
Articles use shared templates, so customers can update an individual story or change the design across every article.
We built a common page model for AI and the visual editor, with checks on AI changes before they are applied. Content and templates are stored separately, so customers can change the design without rewriting their articles.
03 / WEB + MOBILE
Add photos, update copy, save drafts and publish from the Edition mobile app.
The app connects to the same content and publishing system as the web editor. We designed it for quick updates on the move, with page layout tools available on the web.
04 / THE SAAS PLATFORM
One platform supports multiple customer organisations, each with its own sites, content, users and permissions. Each organisation’s data is kept separate.
Edition publishes and hosts customers’ websites, with custom domains, HTTPS and fast delivery through a global CDN.
The backend runs on AWS serverless infrastructure, scaling up as demand grows and back down when it falls. Usage-based pricing keeps idle running costs low.
05 / TESTING & RELEASES
Our AI products come with automated tests, deployment tools and monitoring, so your team can check changes before release and diagnose problems in production.
Browser tests exercise editing, saving and publishing, and compare the editor with published pages across desktop and phone layouts. Backend and mobile-app suites test their workflows, including billing, retries and interrupted operations.
Development and production use separate environments. Version-controlled AWS infrastructure and scripted builds make deployments repeatable, with health checks after release and documented rollback procedures.
Monitoring and AI usage controls help track behaviour and running costs. Database recovery, versioned content and documented recovery procedures provide ways to restore data after a bad change.

Edition’s first working version was built and demoed in around 200 hours. It shows how our studio combines AI, product design and the infrastructure needed to run a customer-facing service.
Building products such as Edition has given us tested components for customer accounts, permissions, billing, an AI model gateway, usage and cost controls, storage, monitoring and deployment. We adapt and integrate the relevant components into your product, so you get working software sooner and at lower cost, with existing tests, access controls and operational safeguards carried into the build.
