VERSO is a Bangkok international school, with an innovative, cutting-edge take on education. They reached out to Fluxus to develop an online hub that connected all of their digital systems into a single, easy-to-access framework. This turned into VERSO Gateway, an integration platform with digital key card IDs, built on AWS Serverless.

Fluxus assumed an administrative role on the project, and was able to proceed on the platform’s development mostly autonomously, acting as the technical authority. There were also organizational and collaborative responsibilities, liaising between key stakeholders, and coordinating development to meet the client’s specifications and time frame.

This project was conceived in late 2019, with Fluxus’s development work starting in January 2020. With the start of the COVID-19 pandemic later that year, on-site collaboration and face-to-face meetings became unwise. However, remotely managing the problem proved not to be a problem for the team. This was due to their extensive understanding of the AWS systems used to build the platform, as well as their expertise with Agile working methodology. As an company used to serving international clients across time zones, remote working was not something new to the Fluxus team, and was able to take place here without hindering the rate of progress.

Following the successful platform release in 6 months, Fluxus remains on retainer for third line support, having mentored and instructed in-house IT teams to manage the first and second lines.
