VERSO International school, a new cutting-edge school in Bangkok, which opened in mid 2020. Ahead of their school year launch, they needed to compile and integrate a number of third-party digital systems into a single framework. Fluxus was brought on, and developed a solution in the form of VERSO Gateway, an interoperable integration hub.

As the project’s technical authority, Fluxus led the design and build of this framework, and presented AWS as an option to keep budgets and time constraints well-satisfied, alongside providing top-notch build quality. Development took advantage of serverless, using a combination of DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway.

VERSO Gateway provided a system through which all the online education systems used by the school were easily accessible, as well as providing a way to track students’ activities throughout the day while on campus, such as arrival and departure from school and class attendance. AWS’s high-quality security features meant this was able to be added with a great level of data protection.

Alongside Fluxus’s role in leading the project’s development, additional responsibilities included coordination and decision-making, liaising between key stakeholders, testing new features, and constantly iterating. The project was able to be carried out without much hindrance from the remote working requirements of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the platform was finished well in time for the August school year. Fluxus remains on retainer for future needs.
