VERSO, an innovative international school in Bangkok, needed to move from using a myriad of third-party digital online systems to a single integration hub. The solution had to be highly interoperable, with multi-layered capability, so that every system could be accessed easily by VERSO administrators, parents, and students.

Before Fluxus was brought onto the project, the school already had several digital systems in place, serving HR, learning management, security, and other purposes. As a technical authority, Fluxus lead the creation of VERSO Gateway, a digital framework that accessed all of these, and added more functionality on top. With cyber safety as a high priority, Fluxus presented and developed a digital key card system, to log students’ transportation, clock class attendance, and provide an on-campus payment option. These also included a touchpoint system, through which a parent could keep track of their child at school throughout the day.

As a consulting partner in the AWS partner network, Fluxus developed the project using AWS’s serverless cloud option Lambda. This kept development within budget, and allowed for the project to be completed in enough time before the upcoming VERSO school year. With the technical flexibility of the AWS ecosystem, and the high experience level of the development team, Fluxus was able to lead the project even through the remote working requirements of the early 2020 pandemic restrictions in Thailand. Fluxus was prominent not only in the development of the project, but in its coordination and organization. The project was completed in 3 months following its start in January 2020, and Fluxus remains on retainer for ongoing third-line support.
