BMW Financial Services, part of the greater BMW Group’s presence in Thailand, went through a digital transformation in 2019. They took on Fluxus as a partner through this process following speaking engagement Fluxus did at a transformation seminar. The goals were improved customer relations and higher sales, and an overhaul of the company’s presence online was planned to achieve these.

After assigning a team of four to the project, Fluxus became the first external group to be invited into BMW Financial Services’ offices to work directly on the project. This was a working practice Fluxus has had experience in before with some of our European clients, and going down the augmentation route made sense for this project. This allowed our team to temporarily become an embedded part of the wider office company, working with full support and input from the company.

Our team worked both as development partners and strategic consultants, and their physical presence in BMW Financial Services offices allowed both technical progress and strategic decision-making to be implemented faster. This was something that became instrumental to the effectiveness and proficiency of the whole project team. By the deadline of the Thailand International Motor Expo 2019, the transformation process was a success, with many pre-qualified sales leads, leading to a record regional sales year and an improved partnership into 2020.
